Vote, damn you

This site represents the first time I’ve ever had a virtual soapbox that gets seen by thousands of people at a time, so I’m gonna deviate from my usual strictly-business policy and try to use it for a good cause, sort of like when I wrote about the app called Campaign:

If you’re an American citizen in the state of Illinois, you can still register to vote. You’ll have to register in person and vote on the spot or with an absentee ballot (according to this Chicago Tribune article) but it’s not too late.

Other states might also offer “late registration” but I tried to find a list of them and couldn’t. Some states haven’t even hit their registration deadline yet or allow election-day registration… check Justvote.org for your state.

If you’re an American in Illinois, at least 18, and not in jail for a felony (haha if you are) you really need to get onboard and make a choice. Please do it even if you’re voting for McCain.

Also, please be my fan on Facebook. I only have 3 fans, two of which are me and my brother, and that’s pretty pathetic.
