Loading ...If you have a disability that makes dialing on the iPhone a pain in the ass, help is on the way. There are plenty of phone dialers out there on the market already, but A Special Phone is intended specifically for the disabled.
A Special Phone gives you six dialing slots that can be assigned to your contacts with a few quick taps, and after that it’s shake-shake-shake. Shake once to dial Contact #1, shake twice for #2, and so on.
The typical non-disabled person may be inclined to think this is completely useless, but if you’re dealing with cerebral palsy, visual impairment, or some other affliction that makes it hard to dial phone numbers, this app could save you a lot of trouble.
A Special Phone will be hitting the App Store this Friday, so if you have special needs you might want to be on the lookout for this app.

Nice review!!
I think “A Special Phone” can also be used as:
- Speed dialer.
- While driving (make dialing and driving a lot safer).
- Kids can use the phone in case of emergencies like fire, robbery, his parent had some health emergency like a heart attack…

I forget to mention that you can press and hold on your contact image to record contact name.
Once you shake the iPhone, the contact name is played so you know how you are dialing even without even looking at the screen . It’s also great if you have some visual disability and you can’t see clearly.
