Got an iPhone 4? Need a flashlight?

For the past few days IAR has gotten a bunch of review requests for iPhone 4 LED flashlights, apparently a booming market in the app store. Unfortunately, I don’t have the means to acquire Apple’s latest gadget, so I’m going to be giving away the promo codes in the comments for all you lucky iPhone 4 owners.

LED Flashlight, only for iPhone 4

The Flashlight App (For some reason, the iTunes Link Maker was screwing up on this one and wouldn’t give me the link. But rest assured, it’s a flashlight app.)

Free codes! Alright, play nice and leave a comment saying which code you took. If you manage to snag one, I’m sure the developers will appreciate an App Store review!

And please, only take one code. I know the iPhone 4 is special, but it really doesn’t need four different flashlight apps.

Check out the this LED flashlight app, it keeps your screen dark and has a cool futuristic look. Plus it’s fast, and has a auto lock disabler so your flashlight will stay on when you use it!

There is a free app that does this exact same thing. You can even make it strobe.

    I’m using a free one called “led-light-for-iphone-4-free”
    http://itunes.apple.com/au/app/led-light-for-iphone-4-free/id379753015?mt=8

It has a nicedesign and simple icon. The light automatically comes on when you start the app. There are 3 buttons; on/off, settings, and strobe/sos. You can turn the screen off, and set a timer.

    In settings you can set:
    -light on/off on app load.
    -hold button for light.
-sos mode (toggles between sos and strobe).
-turn double tap screen black mode on/off.
    -set a sleep timer.

Makes a good emergency torch for hiking/camping and sos/strobe mode will be good if you need to attract attention in an emergency.
