Capture Them is a “logic game” where you move Sheriff and Bandit pieces around a gameboard with the object being to toss the bandits in the slammer.
This attractive “cowboy” motif is very well done, graphically. Playing the game is both simple and challenging. There are 80 different ‘set ups’ where you, the Sheriff, can corral the bandits — sometimes one, sometimes several — and pull them/push them into ‘jail.’
I like that there is a choice of using arrows or using the touch screen to move the icons.
Capture Them falls into my ‘mindless game’ category. Nothing to learn, not a lot of skill involved, lots of time invested with no real return, but ‘captivating’ (pun intended), never-the-less.
One thing that feels like an oversight to me, is the absence of any sound effects or background music. This app needs a theme song!
